Vitamins Delay Aging

Vitamin supplements not only provide nutritional needs but also avoid signs of aging. Several types of nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, are useful for maintaining health, but also make us youthful. Therefore, it is better for vitamins to be consumed regularly in addition to the usual basic foods. What are the recommended supplements to maximize health and keep us young?

Vitamin D
You can reduce your risk of colon, breast and esophageal cancer by 50 percent if you get enough vitamin D. According to Michael F. Holick, MD, Ph.D., a professor from Boston University School of Medicine.
Vitamin D will inhibit the growth of cancer cells and activate the immune system to fight infection. The best sources of vitamin D are egg yolks, fish, and fortified foods, such as milk and cereal. Sun exposure is also good for increasing vitamin D levels in the body.
This mineral is essential to maintain bone strength and is needed for muscle and nerve function. Calcium deficiency will cause bone damage to occur faster than development. In addition to bone, studies have shown that calcium supplementation can reduce the risk of colon cancer-causing polyps.
Research shows that magnesium deficiency is more common in older people than young people. This happens because getting older, the body’s ability to absorb magnesium from food will decrease. Besides, drugs such as antibiotics and diuretic drugs also have the same effect. Apart from preventing diabetes, magnesium can also reduce blood pressure.
Vitamin B
Some studies show that stroke and heart disease can be prevented if we get enough vitamin B6, B12, and folic acid. Adequate vitamin B levels can also prevent us from the typical diseases of parents, namely dementia.
