Researchers at a university in Finland analyzed men who had hair in middle age and men who had baldness before the age of 30 years. They found that men who lost some of their hair had an indication of the risk of experiencing insulin resistance which was quite significant.
Insulin resistance is closely related to several diseases, such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, blood vessel dilation, obesity, and diabetes.
“You can fight baldness and its risks by maintaining weight, exercising, avoiding smoking, and eating healthy fresh foods,” said Sirkka Keinanen-Kuikaanneimi, MD, Ph.D., chairman of the study, as quoted by Healthscout.
Although what he suggests above cannot restore your hair that has fallen out, those moves will reduce your risk of getting more serious disorders.
