One of my favorites by Catherine Coulter. Constantly drooling after her perfect beautiful but stupid and mean sister. I certainly can understand that some readers find Douglas’ actions unforgivable, but I enjoyed the journey of these characters. She used to write well.

Insult and often compare her because she not beautiful like her sister Mellisande. Tony instantly fall for melli but he know about her real character so he never tolerate her nasty temper. Picking up this favorite of mine was exactly what I needed. I only wish there were more Sherbrooke siblings for Coulter to write about! Were there children who might want revenge against Douglas? This was her first novel in the Bride Trilogy. Ryder, confident as only a successful rake can be when it comes to knowing women, sets out to teach her who is in charge.
